| Video Discription | How to write on glass and create videos for youtube. Delivering educational videos is a great way to connect to your online audience, but with that come specific challenges. Most noticeably, how to keep your learners engaged. My challenge was to create content for our online training courses which were as close as possible to the experience they would receive in one of our workshops. https://scopetraining.com.au/project-management/engaging-online-leaners/ After a lot of trial and error, I have (at least for the moment) found a wonderful solution. Through the use of a piece of glass I am able to record videos, whilst drawing just like I would on a white board in the workshop. In many of my earlier videos I was recording whilst writing on a whiteboard, however it was hard to keep my eyes on the camera. Using this very simple method I can face my audience, write and not have to worry about looking away all the time. The feedback from my online learners is awesome, but please let me know if you have any suggestions or improvements. As it's always a work in progress. |
