| Video Discription | In this video I show a speed build of the MILS plate system on a curved road plate… adding the MILS atrributes without losing the graceful curved streets! I’m very excited about this new concept! I didn’t like MILS specifically because you can get smooth round curved roads! And I love the curved LEGO road plates! I think the round curve adds some softness to the angularity of the square nature of LEGO bricks! I’m always trying to create things in my city that don’t feel so blocky, and the old style road plates really help! So I experimented with building the MILS plate with my old curved road plate… and it works! The “curbs” are high! But to fix that issue I’ve added steps around my city from curb to street level! Problem solved! With the MILS plates now I’m able to add some depth to my subway entrances that used to sit flat on the base plates but now… I can create the illusion of depth by using the space under the MILS plates! I got a little sidetracked in the video and showed me wiring and reinstalling my bike rental shop… but hopefully that part will be fun too! Thanks so much for watching my videos! JStar |
