Once a booming river port, the small town was bypassed by the railroad in the late 1800's & now sits idly today with a population under 200. One reminder of it's glory days is the Farwell Mansion. Built around 1867, it has been occupied for the majority of those years, and is now being rehabbed for another lifetime of memories by an ambitious pair of families.
