| Video Discription | How far can you hunt ducks with HEVI-Shot's new HEVI XII tungsten alloy shotgun ammunition? I did a pattern test and a ballistics gel test at 40 yards and again at 60 yards to compare the results. The HEVI 12 is a high velocity load with great pattern density and deep penetration in the gel, but it is also expensive. It is denser than lead and makes a great waterfowl hunting shell for many applications, chief among them taking long range shots at ducks and geese. This review showed this load is very effective at long range.
