Surpassing their performance in the 2017 ULB polls, where they secured 14 out of 16 mayoral seats, the BJP managed to clinch all 17 seats this time. Shahjahanpur, which became a municipal corporation in 2018, joined the race, and the BJP emerged victorious in this new addition as well, as confirmed by the state election commission. The BJP witnessed a significant increase in their vote share across all 17 seats, with candidates receiving over 45% of the votes in 13 seats and over 50% in four seats.
