Microcephaly is a condition characterized by an abnormally small head and brain, which can lead to developmental delays and other neurological problems. 3. Transmission: Aside from mosquito-borne transmission, Zika can also be transmitted through sexual contact, blood transfusion, and from a pregnant woman to her fetus. It can be found in blood, urine, semen, and other bodily fluids of infected individuals. 4.
