This chutney goes well with idly, dosa, ghavane or amboli. Don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe. Ingredients: For Making Chutney: • 1 cup Fresh grated Coconut • 2 tbsp Dal / Dalia • 1 Garlic clove • A piece of Ginger chopped • Green chilies to taste • Sugar to taste (Optional) • Water For Tadka: • 1 tsp Oil • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds • A pinch of Hing / Asafetida • 1/2 tsp Urad dal • Curry leaves • 2 Dried red chilies Method: For Making Chutney: • Take fresh coconut into a blender jar. • Add dal that we use to make chivda. If you don’t have dal then use chana dal soaked for about 3-4 hours. • Add garlic clove, chopped ginger, green chilies to taste, sugar (Optional) and salt. • Blend dry ingredients first for about a minute. • Mix well and add water. Blend it again. • You can add more water to adjust the consistency. • Take out the chutney into a bowl.
