| Video Discription | Buddhism is one of the world's major religions originating in the Indian subcontinent. Buddhism is prominent among the ideologies of atheist philosophy in India. During the fourth era of Buddhism, it was divided into Hinayana and Mahayana sects. There are two main characteristics of the Mahayana sect. Earlier some symbols like Peepal tree etc. were used to show Mahatma Buddha. But the followers of the Mahayana school started making statues of Buddha and worshiping him considering him to be the form of God. The second characteristic is Bodhisattva.
