Today in this Thali, I made (1) Salang Vaal Nu Shaak (2) Surti Patra (3) Mango Pulp (4) Tikhi Puri. In Surat City of Gujarat, people used to make Salang Vaal Nu Shaak and Arbi Leaves Patra with Mango Pulp. They serve it with Tikhi Puri. Salang Vaal Nu Shaak has unique slightly bitter taste and it best suits with Mango Pulp. Surti Patra is made with different method which make it unique in taste and flavour. I recommend to try this thali recipe at home. I am sure, you would love it. ========== INGREDIENTS: SALANG VAAL NU SHAAK ½ cup Desi Val, देशी वाल Warm Water, हल्का गर्म पानी 3 tbsp Peanut Oil, मूंगफली का तेल ½ tsp Mustard, राय ½ tsp Cumin, जीरा ½ tsp Ajwain, आजवाइन ¼ tsp Hing, हिंग 1 tsp paste of Green Chilies, Ginger, Garlic हरी मिर्च, अदरक और लहसुन की १ चम्मच पेस्ट ½ tsp Turmeric, हल्दी ¾ tsp Coriander-Cumin, धनिया जीरा ¾ tsp Salt, नमक ¾ tsp Red Chilli, लाल मिर्च ½ tsp Red Chilli, लाल मिर्च 1 tsp Sugar, चीनी Half a Lemon, निम्बू Half Cup Water, पानी Chopped Coriander Leaves, हरा धनिया SURTI PATRA 250 grams Arbi Leaves, अरबी के पत्ते 1 cup Jowar Flour, ज्वार का आटा ¾ cup Wheat Flour, गेहूं का आटा ½ cup Besan, बेसन 1 tsp paste of Green Chilies, Ginger, Garlic हरी मिर्च, अदरक और लहसुन की १ चम्मच पेस्ट 1 tsp Red Chilli, लाल मिर्च ¼ tsp Turmeric, हल्दी ¼ tsp Garam Masala, गरम मसाला 1 tsp Salt, नमक ¼ tsp Baking Soda, बेकिंग सोडा 1 tsp Oil, तेल ½ tsp Ajwain, अजवाइन 1 tsp Dry Coriander Seeds, सुखा धनिया ½ cup water of Imli & Jaggery, इमली और गुड का आधा कप पानी ½ cup Water, पानी 4 tbsp Peanut Oil, मूंगफली का तेल 1 tsp Cumin, जीरा 1 tsp Mustard, राय ½ tsp Dry Methi Seeds, सूखे मेथी दाने ½ Bay Leaf, तेज पत्ता 2 nos.
