| Video Discription | Mahaweli Raja Mawatha මහවැලි රජ මාවත This road is built during the Mahaweli Project which was initiated in 1964 which gave access to the dams of Victoria, Randenigala and Rantembe resevoirs. The road runs through the Victoria Randenigala Rantembe Santuary. Due to the dense wild elephant population its quite dangerous to drive through this road after 6 pm. This road gives access to Badulla town from Kandy. Very scenic to drive as most of the part of road runs through the vegitations of the thick jungle.
