| Video Discription | This is a video about “then and now”: I wrote and recorded “Theme For Lalo” with my 12-piece big band in 1993. During that time, the ensemble, which featured the late Debbie Duncan on vocals, had a weekly gig at the old Dakota Bar & Grill in St.Paul, Minnesota. 30 years later, in 2023, the band was ‘revived’ with several of its original members, as the Adi Yeshaya Jazz Orchestra. This time, Crooners Supper Club is hosting us but the new Dakota, now in Minneapolis, did grace us with a date that was documented on this video. The amazing Jennifer Grimm is our featured vocalist now so stay tuned for our upcoming videos that will feature Jennifer with the Orchestra!
