Here are some thoughts about how ADD and ADHD affect people with anxiety or OCD. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder coupled with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD). It is my experience that people are born with ADHD and it is more of a brain configuration rather than a disorder, though the world is not really setup for their particular personality. If the child has to repress their ADHD to look like they are concentrating or force themselves to be less spontaneous and care free - this often results in their developing the Pure O version of OCD which has many frightening intrusive thoughts as their creative imagination scares them because it doesn't have a useful outlet in the external world.
