Reuters was able to confirm the location of the video as Beit Lahia from the design and colour of the buildings seen in the video, which matched file and satellite imagery of the area. However, Reuters was not able to confirm the date the video was filmed. In more footage released by the Israel army on Saturday, members of the 551st Brigade, a reserves brigade of commando and paratrooper soldiers, were seen carrying out missions to neutralise infrastructure in what was said to be the area surrounding Jabalia in northern Gaza. Reuters was able to confirm the location of part of the video as Beit Lahia based on the design of the buildings and position of the trees, which matched file and satellite imagery of the area. But Reuters was not able to confirm the location of the whole of the video or the date it was filmed. Israeli war planes and artillery bombarded the south of the Gaza Strip on Saturday, hitting mosques, homes and close to a hospital, according medics and witnesses, as fighting continued a day after the collapse of a truce between Israel and Hamas.
