The center provides care for more than one hundred thousand veterans a year. But has always lacked a nearby place for the families of sick and injured soldiers, sailors and other military to stay. Last Tuesday, a ten year mission to fill that gap ended with the opening in Glenville of a pair of what are known as 'Fisher Houses'. |
