| Video Discription | Tasty Dal Ki Dulhan Kaise Banaen | Dal Dhokli Easy Recipe | Bihari Special Dal Ki Dulhan Recipe #dalkidulhan #daldhokli #chefajaychopra Dal ki dulhan Portions serving: 6-7 pax Preparation time: 10 mins Cooking time: 30 mins Calories: 342 kcal per portion Ingredient Tur dal 1 cup Masoor dal split ¼ cup Turmeric powder 2 tsp Salt ½ tbsp Ghee 2 tbsp Water as required Green chilli slit 1 pc Jeera 1 tbsp Hing ½ tsp Onion chopped ½ cup Green chilli chopped 1 tsp Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Coriander powder ½ tbsp Garam masala 1 tsp Tomatoes chopped ½ cup Coriander chopped 1 tbsp Wheat flour 1 cup Salt 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Water as required Oil ½ tbsp Dulhan making process: On a plate, add wheat flour, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, water and knead it to a soft dough. Once done, apply oil and massage it. Roll it to a flat thick roti, cut it into small circles with the help of a cutter and shape it to a hollow flower shape. This can be done by pressing the opposite four ends of the circle. Make sure it has some hollow space in the centre. You can shape it as per your desired shapes. Dal ki dulhan: In a pressure cooker, add soaked tur dal, soaked masoor split dal,, turmeric powder, salt, slit green chilli, water and pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles. Once done, add required water, the dulhan shaped dough and keep it on simmer for 10-12 mins. Meanwhile, heat a pan, add ghee, jeera, hing and let them splutter. Then add chopped onion and saute until golden brown. Add ginger & garlic paste and saute them. Later add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and saute them. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook them well. Transfer this sauteed masala to the dal and give it a stir. Lastly add chopped coriander and mix it. Dal ki dulhan is ready to serve. Garnish it with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
