| Video Discription | Learn how to make kalua pork at home. Ingredients: 5-6 pound pork shoulder Hawaiian red salt Banana leaves 1. Liberally sprinkle the Hawaiian red salt all over the pork shoulder. 2. Set grill to 230 degrees for indirect cooking. Place a piece of mesquite wood (roughly half a soda can) with the charcoal. 3. Smoke the shoulder for two hours. 4. After two hours, take the shoulder out and wrap it in banana leaves that have been presoaked. Wrap the entire package in aluminum foil and return to the grill. 5. Cook until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 200 degrees.
