Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Excel Shortcuts and Tips for Efficient Work.
Welcome back to another episode of the MrExcel netcast, where we share quick tips and tricks to help you become an Excel pro. In today's episode, we'll cover a few handy shortcuts that will save you time and make your work in Excel more efficient. So, let's dive right in!
First up, have you ever wondered how I switch between sheets so quickly during my seminars? Well, the secret is holding down the CONTROL key and hitting PAGEDOWN to move to the right or PAGEUP to move to the left. But, thanks to a tip from one of my viewers, I learned another shortcut - ALT+PAGEDOWN. This allows you to move screen folds of data to the right, making it even easier to navigate through your worksheets. And don't forget, if you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can hold down the CONTROL key while scrolling to quickly zoom in and out.
Now, let's talk about the fill handle. You may have noticed that it doesn't work when trying to fill the number 1. But, if you hold down the CONTROL key, Excel can extend the 1 into 2, 3, 4, and so on. However, this can cause a problem when you have borders in your data. When you try to use the fill handle and then select "Fill Without Formatting," it reverts back to 1s. So, here's where I need your help. If you have a solution for filling this series without bringing the borders down, please email me at bill@mrexcel.com. I'd love to hear your thoughts and share them with our viewers.

Three quick tips and a quiz question. It is a holiday weekend in the United States, but Episode 795 strings together a few tips that are too short for their own podcast, plus a viewer challenge at the end.
