STORYLINE:
Thousands of women marched to the National Congress on International Women's Day to protest the far-right Argentine President Javier Milei, who has openly rejected anti-discrimination policies.
The combative feminist movement called for marches throughout the country in rejection of Milei's attempts to repeal the law of voluntary interruption of pregnancy, in repudiation of sexist violence, and against the worsening of the economic situation of women due to the measures of adjustment of the new executive.
