| Video Discription | #4 is about one of the trickiest elements in investing - emotions. Emotions is a natural part of the human anthropology and behaviour and we are being impacted by them all the time. If you are able to mitigate your emotions whenever you are investing, you are able to do so much better on the bottom line. Not only because you will likely be less impacted on a daily basis when the portfolio is performing poorly, but also because you will be less frustrated when taking bad decisions because you are simply following a strict strategy avoiding room for coincidences. The primary answer is strategy. But I have 5 specific steps I want to introduce you to that you should easily be able to apply in your own game: 1. Type of investment (Daytrade, Swingtrade, Long-Term hold, Bottom Play, Catalyst Play, etc.) 2. Time-horizon (varies greatly from person to person what a short-term investment versus a long-term investment is) 3. Price Target - The price level where I will sell 25% of my position, 50% of my position and/or 100% of my position. Risk Manage! 4. Stop Loss - not physical, but mental price level (e.g. -15%) where you will cut your loss 5.
