| Video Discription | Vlog # 32 Our week will never be complete without these Dimsum faves. I usually make these on a weekend as it requires time and a little effort but hey it is soo worth it.! :) The smile on my son's face beams with excitement whenever he sees me prepare these (Simply priceless)... Since this will yield about 30-45 pieces, I store them in airtight containers and pop it in the freezer and heat them by batch before serving. I specially make them a bit bigger than the usual Siomai but still we can't have enough. My son also likes it fried and takes it as his baon (lunch) to school. Perfect combo with the Chili Garlic sauce we did previously... Ingredients(Pork Siomai): Ground Pork (Special) 1Kg Carrot (chopped finely) 1 cup Fresh Shitake Mushroom (chopped finely) 1/2 cup Shrimps (chopped finely)8 Large pcs 1 Red Red Onion (chopped finely) 6 Cloves Garlic (chopped finely) 2 Stalks Spring Onions (chopped finely) 1 Tbsp Soy sauce 1 Tsp Salt (season to taste) 1 Tbsp Garlic powder 2 1/2 Tbsp Sesame Oil 2 1/2 Tbsp Cornstarch 1 Large Egg Wonton/Siomai wrapper Quail's Egg (Hard Boiled) Ingredients (Dumpling): Mixture above 2cups Grated Ginger 2 Tbsp White part of the Spring Onion (chopped finely) 1 Tbsp Shao Xing Rice wine Dumpling wrapper (round) All ingredients can be bought in the groceries or supermarkets.
