| Video Discription | 01/01/2014 - This video shows how the symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis affect me. I was diagnosed with MG when I was 17 years old and have been trying to manage my symptoms in various ways since then. I am now 23 years old and have recently seen a relapse in my symptoms hence why I have decided to create this video to show how it impacts me. It shows them at their worst, which impacts my ability to speak and move my facial muscles. It also makes me sound upset and have a nasal voice as a result of weakness in my soft pallet and other facial muscles. The reason I am posting this is to help raise awareness about the condition as it is often difficult to describe to people who have not come across it before. |
