| Video Discription | Bapcor (ASX: BAP) has received an unsolicited and indicative bid from private equity firm Bain Capital, offering to acquire 100% of Bapcor for $5.40 a share. The offer is not binding at this time. A major mover in the news yesterday, some analysts are saying that the offer for Bapcor is too low. In trading today, it's up another 4.5%. Our experts, Andrew Wielandt from DP Wealth Advisory and Henry Jennings from Marcus Today, share what they would do if they were Bapcor shareholders. Henry points out that there have been downgrades, the company is currently without a CEO and possibly some writedowns to come in August. And with Australia's a track record of non-binding indicative offers falling over, he says he'd probably take some profit here but it would depend on what level shares had been bought. Andrew agrees with Henry, saying that would be a good approach and also notes that short interest is rising, with people betting that the results in August aren't going to be positive either.
