| Video Discription | The monument is a Sunsucheokgyongbi, or monument commemorating the border inspection of Mt. Bukhan which King Jinheung(540~576) in the Shilla Dynasty built in commemoration of the incorporation of the Han River basin into his territory and his tours to the area. Having remained buried in oblivion for about 1,200 years, the most of the monument are acclaiming King Jinheung's expansion of territory. In the 19th century, it was discovered and decoded by Chusa Kim Jeong-hee who was one of the best calligraphers and became made public. Chusa is Kim Jeong-hee's nom de plume. Bibong Peak on Mt. Bukhan which is soaring high into the sky. Let's take a visit to the place which looked down into the wide Seoul and nurtured the spirits which dictated to the world. |
