Every Thursday at 8pm PST. --------------- Emotional bullies are common in our culture. They are weak injured people who "get off" on making others feel bad so they can feel better. Their main tool is "projection," projecting their feelings onto others so they can transfer them to the "happy recipient" and rid themselves of those bad feelings. When we have negative core beliefs that trigger us, bullies can utilize our past injuries to their advantage. By triggering our core beliefs they can activate our wounds, and rid themselves of their own pain. The best prevention is to dismantle your core beliefs: Beliefs, like "I'm stupid" or "I'm not good enough," etc. The best way to handle a bully is to ignore him or her. If they persist, keep a paper trail and you may have to use the law to confront and stop them. Sometimes you have to lay down VERY strong boundaries to protect yourself. It wouldn't hurt to learn Martial Arts, or some form of self defense in case they get physical. Often they are a product of narcissistic mothers or fathers who demeaned devalued and destroyed them, and bullied them.
