Ingredients to make Foxtail Millet Upma Foxtail Millet - 1/2 cup Channa Dal - 1 tsp Urad Dal - 1 tsp Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp Onion - 1 Carrots - 1/4 cup Beans - 1/4 cup Green Peas - 1/4 cup Water - 1.5 cups Salt - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder - 1 tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tsp Garam Masala - 1 tsp Method to make Foxtail Millet Upma 1. Soak the millet in water for 15 minutes and drain out the excess water. 2. In a pan add oil and splutter dal and mustard seeds. 3. Saute onion with veggies and cook for 5 minutes. 4. Add millet with spices, salt, and water and cook till the millet gets fully cooked. 5.
