| Video Discription | The only fishy situation we like being in. #Fish #PatraniMachi #Recipes #IndianRecipes #EasyRecipes Recipe for Patrani Machi: INGREDIENTS 2 medium sliver Pomfret 1 1/2 cup grated coconut 1 1/2 cup coriander 1/2 cup mint leaves 6 green chillies 5 garlic cloves 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 2 tsp sugar 2 tsp salt 3 tbsp lemon juice 4 banana leaves INSTRUCTIONS In a mixing jar add grated coconut, coriander, mint leaves, green chillies, garlic, salt, sugar, cumin seeds and lemon juice. Blend all these ingredients to make a chutney. In a bowl marinate the fish with 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp lemon juice, massage well. Wash the banana leaf and cut the centre stem off. Lightly heat the leaf over an open flame to make it soft and flexible. Place the leaf on a flat surface, add 2 tbsp of prepared chutney, place the marinated fish over the chutney, pour more chutney over the fish and cover it well. Wrap the fish in a banana leaf like a parcel, secure it with a cooking thread. Place the wrapped fish in a steamer and steam it for 20 mins. Once done, open the banana leaf and serve the steamed fish. Add onion, green chilly, ginger, garlic, coriander, hing, salt, baking soda and mix it together. Heat some oil on medium-high flame and start frying the dal vada. When the vadas are halfway done take them out and keep them aside. Just before serving the vadas, refry them until golden brown. |
