| Video Discription | Nowruz is here, and its time to celebrate with one of the most famous Parsi dishes we know, Patra Ni Macchi. Marinated with delicious chutney and steamed in banana leaves, this recipe is a must-try!!! Happy New Year!!!! Ingredients required to make Patra Ni Macchi - 3 silver pomfrets For the marination Salt to taste Juice of 1 lemon For the masala 1 cup coriander leaves ¼ cup mint leaves 2 tsp cumin seeds 1 small peeled ginger 4-5 garlic cloves ½ cup grated coconut 2 tsp sugar Juice of 1 lemon Salt to taste Other ingredients Banana leaves for wrapping Method to make Patra Ni Macchi - Make a cut in the fish & marinade for 5 mins. Now make the masala, take all the ingredients in a mixer jar, add water & grind to a chutney consistency. Next, cut the banana leaves & place the fish on them, apply the masala generously on both sides & wrap them in the banana leaves. Tie them with a string & steam for 10-15 mins.
